Live on campus at uni
The University of Kent has over 4700 bedrooms to offer first year undergraduate and postgraduate students. There’s both college and self-catering accommodation, which is generally of a high standard (and periodically refurbished.) More new buildings are also on the way, to cater for a larger number of new students who want to study here and live on campus.
As standard, every halls bedroom has an internet connection (included in the room price) and a cleaning service (for kitchen areas, shared and en suite bathrooms). There’s also shared launderette facilities and some social spaces.
Each of the four college buildings give students access to teaching facilities, bedrooms, a bar and food areas – although you won’t necessarily take your degree classes in the same college as you live as a first year or postgrad student.
