22 year old dies in Portsmouth crash
A 22 year old man has died after the car, he was a passenger, crashed into a wall of a nightclub in Portsmouth.
The incident happened on Friday night, at the Lounge Club in Granada Road. Karl Butler, from Folkestone, was a passenger in the Peugeot 206 when it crashed into the side of the club, where he suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 19 year old drive from Cwmbram, South East Wales was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been released on bail until 12 Jan 2010.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to come forward.
