Kent Law Students Too Busy to Cover the Cuts in Legal Aid

Students at Kent Law Clinic can’t be expected to cover the cuts to planned Legal Aid funding. The director of the award winning Kent Law School, says the students can’t be relied upon to bridge the gap in funding because their case load is already full.

Kent Law School offers a voluntary service to residents in need, but the Ministry of Justice aims to cut the aid bill by £350million over four years which is likely to affect Family Law the hardest, particularly child access, domestic disputes and divorce cases.
